The Model
Our model looks at the problem from a multi-solution angle, incorporating experts with diverse skill sets to develop the most effective research that can eventually be implemented on a local level. We use a three-tier solution analysis to address online hate speech in conflict-fragile countries:
- Counterspeech
- Media and educational reform
- Legal framework and social media platform governance
By using this model, we hope to provide short-term, long-term, and institutionalized solutions that can be adopted by peacebuilding organizations and local peacebuilders.
