Meagan Doll

Meagan Doll

Meagan Doll is a research fellow in the Center for Journalism, Media & Democracy at the University of Washington and a PhD candidate (ABD) in the university's Department of Communication. She studies intersections between journalism and public opinion in various forms, with particular interests in conflict reporting and media trust in strong-state environments. She has international fieldwork experience in Rwanda and Uganda and uses both qualitative and quantitative methods. Previously, Meagan served as the assistant director of the African Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a journalist by training.
